Best-selling author Laura Freed - I'll never give up on that dream. I have weak moments when people make me doubt myself...and most people do not understand the way the publishing business functions, or understand that the major publishing houses are disintegrating and best-selling authors are leaving them in favor of 'doing it themselves.' But then I look at my mostly better half, who mostly does not care what anyone thinks about him, and I'm reminded not to let the naysayers rain on my parade - and neither should you!
