Elizabeth Warren Parody
So Elizabeth Warren, who is running for Senator of MA, claims that her highcheek bones makes her a Cherokee Indian. She listed on her application to Harvard that she was a Native American - and was given a job as a professor. Elizabeth Warren also "fudged" the truth about her "poor" upbringing (link) and has been a vocal cheerleader for Occupy Wallstreet - even though she made almost a million dollars last year. But, she's a cute old lady - with her little glasses and and blonde hair and buttoned up sweaters. So the liberal media will skirt around her lies and protect her. Just as they failed to report when Obama admited he "fictionalized" his girlfriend in his autobiography (and made her White, and also made her cry - he also bullied a girl in school - and WHO has a war on women???)
What the hell ever happened to Honor? I know it can be found in Conservatives and Libertarians - but the word honor doesn't seem to exist in the world of the Democrats.
SWAT Teams Duped & Used as Tools Of Harassment - Brett Kimberlin
Today is Brett Kimberlin day - a man who calls the police using a spoofed phone - and states that he lives at (enter the victims address) and that he has just killed his wife (this happened to an LA County Prosecutor - story below.)
George Soros and Barbara Streisand fund a liberal group that Kimberlin belongs to. They also fund Obama.
Main Steam Media is not touching this story, so Conservative Celebrities, journalists, and bloggers are letting Brett Kimberlin know; we will not be silenced.
Brett Kimberlin belongs to a wealthy family and has a criminal record. Brett Kimberlin is a Liberal Domestic Terrorist who threatens Conservative bloggers.
Today, thousands of bloggers and celebrity Conservatives are bringing awareness to Brett Kimberlin and his ruthless illegal tactics of threatening Conservatives.
Brett ( and a group of his co-horts)allegedly use a tactic called "Swatting" : they’re spoofing phones, pretending to be somebody else’s phone, calling 911, and saying “I killed somebody” and then the person’s home is met with the guns drawn, the SWAT and the helicopters, in a horrifying act. It’s happened twice: once in New Jersey, once in Los Angeles, with an L.A. County Prosecutor.
The L.A. County Prosecutor has written about being terrorized by Kimberlin and about being taken out of his house by gun point by a SWAT team...it is chilling, it is haunting...I urge you to read his account here: http://patterico.com/2012/05/25/convicted-bomber-brett-kimberlin-neal-rauhauser-ron-brynaert-and-their-campaign-of-political-terrorism/

Reuben Egg Roll Appetizers are THE BOMB
Reuben Roll Ups
2 cups of cooked corned beef, diced or torn into thin strips (OR ham or Turkey or both!)
1 1/2 cups sauerkraut, drained
1 1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds (or to taste)
1/2 lemon, juice of
4 slices of Swiss cheese, diced (or thinly sliced)
Spring Roll Wrappers
1 egg, beaten
2 cups of canola oil
Thousand Island Dressing and or grainy mustard
Sauté sauerkraut and caraway in a skillet over medium-high heat. When most of the moisture has evaporated and sauerkraut begins to brown, take off heat and stir in lemon juice.
If using diced meat and cheese: Mix together your choice of meat, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese in large bowl.
Lay a wrapper with the points of the wrapper facing you, like a diamond. Take about 3-4 tablespoons of the mixture and place it on the wrapper, closest to you. Fold over, and tuck the mixture in, a bit tightly, and continue to roll until you have a few inches of the wrapper exposed. If using thin strips, layer the meat, cheese, and top with 3 tbsp. of sauerkraut mixture.
With a pastry brush, brush on the beaten egg, fold over the remaining edges, and properly seal. Repeat until all of the eggrolls are finished. Let rolls set for about 10 minutes, covered with a damp paper towel.
Carefully add about 4 rolls into the hot oil and fry for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towel.
Serve with grainy mustard or thousand island dressing. These are so good, you will want to make more than one batch at a time.
***Note: For extra zing – you can mix in some spicy mustard to the meat/sauerkraut mixture.

Andrew Breitbart lives on in Jimmy Arone
Jimmy Arone and crew at Tea Party Picnic |
How can you not immediately like someone who wears a Breitbart mask at a picnic?
Meet Jimmy Arone - a bonafide Hollywood Conservative who received a call from Andrew Breitbart in January of 2009. Jimmy and Andrew became friends - because, how could anyone with a heart and a sense of humor NOT be a friend to Andrew (thereby proving that Progressives are heartless and lack a funny bone.)
Jimmy wrote several articles for Big Hollywood. Go to Breitbart.com and plug his name in the Search feature and Jimmy's articles pop up.
Breitbart FEARLESS T-Shirt |
Jimmy sent me a Breitbart T-Shirt. I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. Not only because it's a statement, but also because I know that the person who created it knew Andrew, loved Andrew, and continues to champion Andrew's fight.
I'm now ordering a black t-shirt (he sent me a white one) because I know I'll be wearing my first t-shirt EVERYWHERE! And it is white. And I like to eat anything BBQ.
Black FEARLESS t-shirt |
How did you come to be politically aware/involved?
I grew up right outside the great city of Boston, where the three most important things in people's lives are sports, politics and revenge. Politics are kind of in my blood. I can recall, as a kid, very passionate discussions, between the adults in my life, whenever the subject reared it's thorny head.
It was a wonderful thing to experience and I believe those conversations have served me well over the years when talk turns to politics.
Jimmy Arone |
I've been involved as an activist for many years on a number of issues. The key for me has been to educate myself best as I can, take a stand, then take action. When I led the fight against the proposed expansion of our local regional airport back in the early 90's, I was at city council meetings on a regular basis. Wore the badge of gadfly with honor.
How did you meet Andrew and what did he mean to you?
I believe, I first became aware of him during an Internet broadcast, in the fall of 2008. He was debating a radio talk show person named Nicole Sandler and the way he handled himself with her and the host, was just a thing of beauty.
She was nasty, rude and seemed so angry. Listening to Andrew that night was like listening to a great verbal prize fight. He totally outclassed and outscored her with his knowledge, coolness and wit. And eventually he knocked her out. I was an immediate fan.
One morning, in January of 2009, shortly after the launch of Big Hollywood, I got an email from Andrew along with his phone number and the words, "call me". I was taken by surprise but after I called and we spoke for about 15 minutes, I knew I was gonna to be ok. He talked to me about a group of like minded people, who worked in the entertainment industry, that I would soon become part of. I knew that he, along with a small army of new friends, would have my back from there on in.
Not long after our phone conversation, at his invitation, I became a contributor and wrote my first article for Big Hollywood, 'Conservatives: A Love Story', in which I shared the story of my moving from the Left to the Right.
Andrew was a good man, who I am proud to call my friend. He inspired me and continues to inspire me. To stand up for the principles which I believe in. To fight the good fight.
To be FEARLESS.
For people who want to continue on fighting his fight, what advice would you offer (i.e.: What would Andrew do?)
Live life. With passion. With energy. With humor. Each day, do the best you can. Love your family along with your country. Don't take things for granted. Today is all we've got. Tomorrow...only God knows.
Andrew lived life balls out...that works for me.
Is the USA half empty or half full and how can we make it better?
I am, for the most part, an optimist, so I tend to look at things as being half full. To make anything better in life, a person should have a good attitude, work hard to the best of their ability. The stakes for the future of our country have never been higher. As the great Speaker of the House, Tip O'Neill, once said, "All politics is local". Find a way. Get involved. No excuses.
One issue that is most important to you right now.
No question, the presidential election in November 2012. In all probability, it will be very close, so it will be important for citizens, to educate themselves, participate and vote. As Dennis Prager has stated on many occasions, "This election is about more than just defeating President Obama, it is about defeating the Left."
Favorite food
I'll go with a nice thick juicy NY steak, a hot buttered baked potato and a simple green salad. Maybe something chocolate for dessert. Although, a couple of thin crust NY style slices of pizza are hard to beat. Add an ice cold Dr. Pepper (lots of ice please) and I'm a happy guy.
Favorite music
Aw man, that's so tough. I love all kinds of music. From Sinatra to The Beatles to Paul Weller. Beethoven, Vivaldi, Howlin' Wolf, Etta James, Sam Cooke, Chris Connor, Keith Jarrett, Nat King Cole, you name it. Movie soundtracks. Depends on my mood...what's going on that day. Could be Chet Baker, Bobby Darin, Paul Westerberg, one minute then something from Motown the next. The Supremes, Righteous Brothers, Curtis Mayfield, then maybe a taste of Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Dave Clark 5, The Beach Boys or The Who. And blast it!
Favorite movie
The same as with food and music. What am I hungry for? Without a doubt, in 1961,'The Guns of Navarone', started the ball rollin' for me, when I was 8. Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, David Niven, magic up there on the silver screen. For me, goin' to the movies was like goin' to church. I went to see that movie every afternoon on our Christmas school vacation. Drove my poor mother nuts. Years later, when I became an actor, she kind of understood.
1973, it was Scorsese's 'Mean Streets'. Same thing, went to see it 54 times. My mother thought I was insane but after that film, I just knew I was gonna be an actor.
Other favorites include, 'Mr. Smith Goes to Washington' 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance' 'On the Waterfront' 'Mister Roberts' 'The Apartment' 'Hud' 'The Dirty Dozen' 'Cool Hand Luke' 'Wait Until Dark' 'The Party' 'In the Heat of the Night' 'Midnight Cowboy' 'The Friends of Eddie Coyle' 'The Godfather Part I & II' 'Inside Moves' 'O Lucky Man!' 'A Woman Under the Influence' 'Chinatown' 'Taxi Driver' 'Rocky' 'Network' 'Being There' 'Raging Bull' 'Once Were Warriors' 'Wings of Desire' 'Lost in America' (think I'll stop there with the hope that come November we'll remember and once again we'll find America).
Jimmy Arone, created these T-shirts, from an original collage, as a way to honor his friend Andrew. To let Americans know, the spirit of Breitbart lives on, he is EVERYWHERE and he is FEARLESS!
T-shirt info: If you are interested in purchasing a FEARLESS T - they come in Black/25.00 (with white ink) or White/20.00 (with black ink) S/M/L/XL. A PayPal account is available for payment.

Because You Do Make A Difference...
Yesterday, I had the chance to sit down and watch The Pitch.
I'm fascinated with Mad Men and The Pitch is "real life" Mad Men. It follows 2 ad agencies vying to win the business of a company.
The first two companies were The Ad Store and SK+G.
PAUL CAPPELLI is the founder of The Ad Store and has won a ton of awards. The company is small, in NYC, and I loved Paul right away. He was bold, brash - tough on the outside but a softee on the inside. And he and his team was wildly creative.
I thought his ad (featured on the bottom of this blog) really rocked. I got goosebumps when I watched as the idea unfolded. So simple, yet so powerful. In case you decide to watch the show, I won't tell you who one.
Just know that there was one guy working on SK+G who was a total douche bag. Ugh. Elitist and thought the world revolved around him - definition of douche bag.
Anyway - I've never reached out and wrote to a "celebrity" - if you will - but Paul really really moved me. Paul immigrated to the USA from Italy when he was young and he IS the American Dream. Worked his ass off and
and became extremely successful in life; but like so many people these days, his company is now struggling in this economy. Paul worried that he wouldn't leave a legacy - that his success would be forgot. I get that. And I think so many of us are like Paul.
We all want to make a difference (well, most of us anyway!). Paul seemed to think that when the time would come to walk away from the business, he would lose a part of himself. He felt responsible for the success of everyone in the office and didn't want to let anyone down.
This morning, the first thing I did was write Paul an email. I had no idea if it was even the correct email address - but I wanted him to know that A) I loved his "pitch." and B) He should be know that his success will live on - but he shouldn't worry too much what other people think (god - we all do - I know) because he knows in his heart he is wildly successful and his life is full of passion both personally and professionally.
I felt I had to let him know he had touched me. He inspired me.
And guess what? He wrote me back! Which was AWESOME.
Paul is a reminder that anything is possible - that hard work pays off - that when you do what you love, you win - and for me, this was also a lesson in taking a risk - sending an email to a guy I'd seen on TV - and risk that he'd think I was a freaking kook (which, we know I often am).
He will be appearing on another episode of The Pitch airing on May 20th. If you get a chance, tune in or DVR it.
Remember, live passionately - do what you love, take risks - work hard - and reach out and let someone else know that they have touched your life - no matter how simple or how great, we all need to know that we DO make a difference.

Can You Write a Novel Using Dragon Dictation? YES!
I read so many reviews about Dragon Dictation and read a review that said using Microsoft's free Speech Recognition program worked just as well - WRONG!
For me, anyway, Microsoft's version was a joke! It never seemed to hear me, and when it did, it was inaccurate.
I dabble in writing - but when it comes to sitting down at the computer and creating a story - I despise it. I'd so much rather be outside writing long-hand in a notebook; for me, it's much more liberating.
After writing We Are Breitbart long-hand, I had the dreaded task of sitting down and typing it out. Ugh. Then John suggested, "Why don't you try Dragon Dictation?"
At Walmart, it was selling for 50.00 - but they were sold out.
At Staples, it was selling for 99.00.
At Best Buy it was selling for 69.99. I decided to buy it from there because, even though it was cheaper on Amazon (45$$), I didn't want to wait for it to ship out (I'm impatient, what can I say?). I bought the Home version.
Well, it ended up being the best 69.99 I've ever spent.
It was so easy to set up and work with. In less than 2 hours, I'd dictated my book (it's a short book) - and then went back and made corrections. It was surprisingly accurate the first time out.
It's difficult for me to "write" as I think, however; I'm sure it can probably be done with training.
But since then, I've written 3 more books long-hand, then used Dragon when it came time to transfer my story to computer. This has saved me so much time and it actually makes it fun!
If you're like I am and like to write longhand - Dragon will make you 100% more efficient.
The headphone/microphone combo that is included works great. I don't see any reason to purchase anything different.
I wish I had discovered this years ago.
If you're like I was, hesitant to purchase it, I can assure you, it's well worth it and works wonderfully.
Simply. Fabulous!!!

NBC Caught Doctoring Tapes AGAIN
From the Desk of:
L. Brent Bozell, President
Media Research Center
L. Brent Bozell, President
Media Research Center
May 3, 2012
Dear Patriots:
NBC News has been caught again. A second edit of the George Zimmerman 9-1-1 call was discovered and a reporter was quietly let go, but NBC has yet to apology to their viewers.
NBC has now fired three people from two different offices over at least two different edits of George Zimmerman’s now infamous 9-1-1 call prior to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Both edits were clearly designed to portray Zimmerman as a racist while raising tensions in an already volatile situation. This latest firing from NBC once again goes unexplained. The Media Research Center went on the record after uncovering their first edit that NBC is a network out of control point that their two-sentence (non)apology hidden on their website, was an insult.
The truth has been withheld from NBC’s own viewers now for more than one month. Do the network executives at NBC think that this is acceptable? What about the board and shareholders of Comcast? Is it acceptable for a news organization to consciously and constantly lie to its viewers?
NBC News president Steve Capus admitted that they "probably" should have apologized on-air; NBC still has yet to do so. Even the local NBC affiliate that doctored the clip has fired the offender and apologized and retracted on-air.
NBC is playing with fire by altering these tapes to serve their liberal agenda. Racial tensions are being inflamed causing a dangerous situation across our country.
Tell Comcast’s board that you demand a full apology, new leadership and honest reporting from NBC. Otherwise Comcast’s reputation will be sullied by NBC’s irresponsible actions.
Thank you for standing with us,
Brent
